For her career, she has accumulated 37 points (13G, 11A). Barklage, who recently was named the Class 2 Player of the Year by the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, tallied five goals and five assists this season to help lead Incarnate Word to the state title and a 20-1 record. She played a key role on the Red Knights' defense that produced 16 shutouts while yielding only five goals. Barklage, who also played on Incarnate Word's 2005 and 2007 state runner-up squads, was a four-time first-team All-State selection and the 2007 Missouri Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year. Saint Louis, which was 10-6-2 overall and 7-2-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference last season, opens the 2008 campaign Aug. 22 at Southeast Missouri State.
